A twist…
by Gordon on Dec.01, 2009, under General
Thanks for the email Mysterious One/Girl Next Door. Your surprising identity is safe with me. I hope my blog continues to be enjoyable.
However, “Well, hello there” was written to the owner of a Toshiba laptop using Google Chrome. You are not that person.
Well, Hello there.

You used my middle name to find Grokking Gordon on Google.
You spent over 10 minutes looking at what I have written.
You looked at “Letter from David” but neglected “Letter from Matt” and “Letter from Aaron.”
10 minutes? I can’t get my good friends to pay attention to me for that long.
What did you think? Did you find it entertaining, insightful, perhaps just a bit strange?
You now know so much about me, and I know so little about you. Well, except that you use Google Chrome.
Very curious. Curious indeed.
Rally Ready…
by Gordon on Mar.17, 2009, under Grokking
I have the awesome opportunity to travel with Turning Point to the rallies this season. I’m pretty excited and expect to have an awesome time. I’ve set up a blog for the first rally, it’s in Tampa, and I’m going to be updating it constantly through twitter and flickr. At least I hope too. I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m pretty excited. I’m going to try and be sort of a techno journalist, following the story as it unfolds, getting every gritty grimy detail. I’ve got everything set up so that I can do it all from my phone. I set up the blog today so I’m pretty happy with how it looks and it’s functionality. I suppose Word Press did most of the work. Blogs are getting pretty simple these days thanks to them.
Here’s hoping I have an internet connection, I don’t run out of batteries, I can manage to report something interesting, and someone actually decides to read it. Who knows maybe I’ll even have some fun. Check it out –> RALLY
***Update: The rally site was fun however, temporary. It no longer exists.
Macbook Mod

They replaced the apple logo with an LCD screen. I am impressed but I suppose pointing out the fact that it’s useless would be missing the point. Still very cool.
Check out more info at Infinite Loop and MacMod.
Blogging from my iPhone.

I have to admit blogging (picture included) from my phone is pretty cool. It would be cooler if my laptop wasn’t right in front of me.
